Have you ever been out and about, be it your neighborhood, a park, or a local hangout where you get your bagels, donuts or coffee? And out of the corner of you eye you see a person, just standing there on the sidewalk, with their arms by their side just staring with a blank look on their face? No? Well good you are a lucky one.
The first time for me was when I was in high school. I had just left my home, and was driving up the block when I saw my neighbor, Sam just standing there on the curb. Sam was in his pajamas with his arms at his side. Just staring straight ahead with no expression on his face. I thought nothing of it until I got home later on that day. My mom told me that Sam had died in the morning. I asked what time, and I told her that I had seen him driving to school. She said around 7AM. I said what? I saw him around 7:30 on the curb. “NO” my mom said, your mistaken. “Now go and start your homework”. And that was that.
