Completely understandable reaction, and honestly you might never see this. But in case you do come back, we try to be honest about our experiences and the safety of things without scaring folks, but that's obviously hard to do sometimes.
Stay safe out there.

Is this real? Not a joke?
It's terrifying, if so. I'm not sure how to help.

Re: [Sighting][First Hand] An Astonishing book
Hey guys, I think this might actually be something worth upgrading to a case. In general on this forum, we try not to talk ourselves out of instinct while still maintaining a level head. We usually use each other as gauges. I'm going to go ahead and say, and I don't mean to scare you, do not ignore ...

Welcome in Sera, you may want to redact or remove your location from your profile, just in case there are things prowling the forum that don't have your best interests in mind. That sounds really dramatic and I'm sorry but I'd rather warn you and keep you safe. I do wonder if Mulder isn't onto ...

Re: [first hand] [unconfirmed]
It's really hard to tell sometimes, and I certainly don't want to be responsible for any fear mongering, but I'll say this: multiple former FBI profilers, such as Joe Navarro, have gone on record saying that trusting your instincts is crucial for recognizing dangerous situations and deceptive people ...
Re: newbie
Of course you're welcome to stay. Honestly, this place has a way of making believers of us. Maybe not in everything, but at least that something is out there beyond our basic understanding.
Folks here call me Midna, btw. Nice to meet you, and I'd love to hear a story if you want to share.
