What a curious turn of events. That seems to give us some answers and yet more questions remain. Going dark may be the right choice, not just for your safety but for everyone here's. Still, I do wonder whether the observable changes are localised to the library. Not to put pressure on you Stooge, I understand this must be very stressful for you, but if anything else has changed it may help shed some light on the situation. Perhaps communicating via a guest or alt account would be a safer option. For safety.

Now, let's all remember why we are here. If this place doesn't understand the fears Stooge has, nowhere does. I don't think he will be back for a while, but I'll check in with a couple of my contacts to see if we can make sure he's alright.
Everyone deserves the chance to close the book. It's up to us, those who keep the pages open, to make sure they have the opportunity to try. The opportunity to purposefully forget. Wait... Whats going on with Peri's acct info on the right there? The Rest of us have Posts/Joined/Contact and Our names are links, their info is blank and the acct name doesn't lead anywhere? Their Account doesn't seem to exist. @Zethus is there any way for you to see what happened to the user or if it was some sort of outside infulence?!

Ok, just to clear some things up: I cannot edit your posts unless I go into the database itself, which is possible, but a process. I certainly wouldn't have been able to redact Stooge's post that quickly.

However, if the forum is trying to protect us, and I feel insane even typing that, then maybe we learn from this. I created a redact command we can use to purge and hide information. I know we haven't decided yet what we're going to do, but seemed a good thing to have.
