Morse Code?
Had something weird happen the other day. I was checking my Ham radio tape that record messages from friends, as I know people from all over the world. And I received a message in Morse Code on my code channel. Most Ham radio operators have a main channel for voice calls. But for people just starting out they may only have access to Morse Code. The code said they were from DUM? And need to talk to me. I did a trace back to find out where they are at and sent a reply back by code giving my voice call sign ZBO 044. If they wanted to talk to me.

DUM? Really? Sounds like some pranksters, I didn't think Ham Radio had trolls
If you do speak with them, be very wary. Rule 7 may not fully fit but it is a good rule here and irl.

However, its true that one cannot just ignore everything so just be careful.Under no circumstances should you respond to messages from users who claim to know you personally. They are not who they say they are.

Re: Morse Code?
You traced it — but “trace” on shortwave is rarely precise. Signal bounce can make Antarctica look like Arizona.
The interesting part isn’t the origin.
It’s the intent: “need to talk to you.”
That’s unusually specific for a random band scan.
If no one responds, assume it is a test signal or automated loop.
If someone does respond… verify their identity before giving more than you already have.
Curiosity is fine.
Disclosure is permanent.
