My life is one that does not allow for coincidence. I have seen too much to allow the notion to poison my mind and leave me vulnerable/susceptible to the unknown. Tis event has left me alone and in pieces. I hop that you understand.

I remember this vividy, without error. My pregnant wife lay next to me, dog on the floor. I hadn't sept like this since I was a child. Peaceful, serene, undsturbed. 3:33 am, I find myself ripped from my slumber and starring into the darknes. I wasn't confused, drowzy, or oterwise lacking. A singular thought resonatd through my mind. "Something has changed". Neithe my dog nor my wife semed to notice it. The air was too still, but I managed to convince myself that it was nothing and went back to sleep.

Each time I remember this event, I believe I lose a detail, or a detail changes, I am no longer able to coherently tell the difference, and I am afraid of what might be changed/redacted.

If you felt this, know you are not alone. Please stop remembering, for your own sake. This is not our house any longer for those who dwell here demand our faded selves.
